Vertical Capital Partners was established in 2007 to leverage off the founders unique and collective experience in the resources, stock-broking and technology commercialisation sectors.

The core strategy of the business model is to invest in projects at an early stage and contribute financially and intellectually to their development. There will be a variety of strategies to turn to account the investments made by Vertical ranging from long-term outright ownership, bringing in partners into either listed or unlisted structures through to outright sale at an appropriate time.

• The business activities anticipated include investing cash and sweat for equity in strong intellectual property-based companies with potential international markets.
  

• Taking positions in listed or unlisted stocks;
  Establishing new funding, investing and trading structures that may include but are not limited to hedge funds and
  

• Providing strategic advisory services to other parties; this may be on a time and materials basis or in return for a carried interest.
